About the Foundation

SUFAF Foundation, established by Hon. Dr. Sulaiman Abubakar Fana, is a philanthropic organization dedicated to fostering education and skills acquisition within communities. The foundation is driven by a commitment to uplift individuals, particularly those from less privileged backgrounds, by providing them with the tools and opportunities needed to succeed.

Our Core Focus Areas

Education

Scholarships and Financial Aid: SUFAF Foundation offers scholarships and financial assistance to students who demonstrate academic potential but lack the resources to pursue their education. These scholarships may cover tuition, books, and other related expenses.

Skills Acquisition

Skills A quisition Centre: The foundation establishes skills acquisition center named after Her excellency Hajiya Zainab (Nasare) Nasir Idris Entrepreneurship Centre in Kamba LGA, Kebbi State where individuals can l earn trades such as carpentry, tailoring, computer skills, and other marketable skills. This center aim to equip participants with practical skills that can lead to self-employment or better job opportunities.

Entreprenuership Programme

SUFAF Foundation also offers entrepreneurship training, mentoring, and startup support to help individuals turn their skills into s uccessful businesses. This includes access to micro-loans(Interest Free) and startup grants, business planning resources, and networking opportunities.

Youth Empowerment

Recognizing the importance of youth in societal development, the foundation runs targeted programs to engage and empower young people. These programs often include workshops, seminars, and mentorship sessions focused on career development, leadership, and life skills.

Support to Orphan and Widows

The Foundation also aims to enhance the lives of Orphans and widows through various initiatives which includes Financial assistance, skills acquisitions training programmes and provision of basic necessities
